But also the pain, or feeling of powerlessness that comes with knowing you can't just rewind time... so it's especially wonderful when those lost things reappear.

Melissa
xmelissa.https://www.blogger.com/profile/07579911717955677536noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5646848356865339644.post-77410381803492595852016-07-02T19:56:32.429+01:002016-07-02T19:56:32.429+01:00I love this post! I lost a rubber in the shape of a fish when I was little and was so upset about it, then a few days later it appeared on the shelf in my bedroom. It did feel like a small miracle! Looking back now, mum probably bought a new one for me because I was so distraught but she claimed that she didn't and it's something I remember to this day haha.

Sarah x
scarletstate.co.ukSarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07905434287958730714noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5646848356865339644.post-10090899556652394662016-07-02T14:06:32.601+01:002016-07-02T14:06:32.601+01:00I think this is the most beautiful comment anyone&...I think this is the most beautiful comment anyone's ever left on this blog. Brought a tear to my eye.

Thank you so much for your kind words. And yes that completely does make sense - that feeling of 'quiet' and 'subtlety' and is what I love in other people's writing, but have never been sure whether I've been able to weave it into my own. So these words are a blessing and an encouragement. Thank you.

Melissa
xmelissa.https://www.blogger.com/profile/07579911717955677536noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5646848356865339644.post-31562223837433030862016-07-02T13:44:49.261+01:002016-07-02T13:44:49.261+01:00Love this so much. I love the concept of this post too. Yes it's about finding a necklace, but it's so much more than that too. I feel as though it's about finding yourself through the objects that define you, that remind you of who you were before the darkness took over. But again, that is just my interpretation. Such an inspiring piece of writing, looking forward to your next post!

Nabeela x
http://nabsticle.blogspot.co.uk/Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03275323012666183474noreply@blogger.com
